browncoat2x2OMG, OMG, OMG! MORENA IS COMING TO TORONTO!!!! SQQUEEEEEEEEE!!
SFX in September, oh god oh god I *SOOO* want to go!!! I have a wedding to attend on the Sunday (yay for friends getting married on Sunday) so I'm hopeful that I'll be able to go on the friday and saturday and hopefully get her autograph and such... I'm so excited, and it's months away...squeee!!!! I'm pretty giddy, can you tell? *G*
In other news, it is late (or early, depending) and I am bored.
I don't want to go to bed, because this is the last day of my vacation, aside from the weekend, and I'm clinging to it fiercely.
The week has gone by far too fast.
Chief accomplishment this week, the priming and painting of ten of my twenty-six cupboards and kitchen drawers - Chinatown Orange, it's beautiful! Vibrant and very, very bold. Completely changes the dynamic of the kitchen, which is good and bad... good becuase I love the colour, but bad because it's drifted away from our tuscany theme. It will take some getting used to, but I'm pleased overall.
Oh, also, I made two shiny new userpics today, one of which I used with this post, and I am very pleased with them both. A bit of a new style for me, but I've only just started getting into this icon thing, so, let me know what you think, eh?
Writing is slow. I've missed the ff_friday challenge for the first time since I started, which was two months ago, so that's disappointing. I even cleaned up my desk area and made it more 'work like' to try to engender the whole work atmosphere, and it's worked a bit, but not well enough. Oh well... I've done a few hundred, to a thousand words of Choices, but it's a looong way from being anywhere near done. Part 13 will be the big finale, with an epilogue to follow, then, who knows... maybe I'll write 'Consequences' or something *shrug* Though it might be nice to take a break from writing a long piece...
Allergies continue to suck, nothing new on that front.
Doing stuff with the Moms this weekend for Moms day, dinner and such, should be nice.
It is friend Ness' Birthday today and I have no birthday fic for her, I am a bad 2x2. I will have to owe it to her, and since my b-day fic from her was late, I think she'll understand. Still, I'm disappointed with myself.
Anywho, this is long enough now, so I'll let ya all get back to it, whatever 'it' may be...

I had to construct it from a couple different pictures, to get Inara in focus in the background... I also brought her closer to Mal... I'm quite pleased with it.. I plan on doing a series of them, all similarly laid out I think...

Yes, I'm really really really sick of them. I think a trip to the doctor is in order now.. it's been over two weeks, they should be calming down now.. I'll go once I'm back to work, so I can miss that instead of vacation *G*

Did you ever see that episode of Friends (Yes. I watched Friends on occasion, usually when there was nothing else on. Try not to faint.) *cough* as I was sayin', that episode of Friends when Ross has his list of the five celebraties he's allowed to sleep with if the opportunity should ever arise?? The Spousal Unit and I joke about that sometimes, and we pick out our top five... Mine was pretty lacking before Firefly actually, but it's two slots fuller now... anyway... like you want to hear about that! Sheesh... as the hours of the nighte wane, so too does my better judgement apparently *G*

Well, it's pretty tiny as an icon... plus, I used photoshop, and layers and all sorts of fun stuff to hide it... so... and you're kinda not supposed to guess that, anyway! that's the point *G* And yes, I hope to do more icons, cuz I need more... I need a Squeeing Icon... and an Evil Icon... those would be good...
