Woot! Four Day Weekend!

We booked tomorrow off, just to catch up on things and do some business stuff and to relaxxxxxx, AND because I took monday off for my Birthday - FOUR DAY WEEKEND!!

So, the question is, do I get some rest and go to bed at a reasonable hour? Or do I stay up as late as I want since I don't have to get up at 5am until next tuesday?? ;oD

Just over 3 hours from now.... and I'm freeeeeeeeeee!!!

And so... Birthday question!

What should I do to treat myself for my birthday??? Suggestions welcome ;oD

What's your favorite drink, and why does no one have it? You should strike! Or something. I mean, no one really has my favorite drink, either, but the point remains.

Hmm ... what should you do ... Movie marathon! Get someone (or several someones) to hang out with you and eat delicious things while you watch as much as you want to of something. Provide pillows and blankets and hot chocolate!

Favourite drink currently is a Bellini... only three places around here make them that i know of: Mandarin, Milestones and Mongolian Grill (holy M named restaurants!) I keep asking everywhere tho... eventually someone else will serve them...

So, I've told you mine, now you tell me yours ;o)

Hmm Movie Marathon has some appeal, might schedule some time for that... maybe tomorrow. Good plan!

I've only ever once had a Bellini, but I quite enjoyed it. I also tried a Bloody Mary on the same night and didn't like it as much as I thought I would, though, so it may have just come out on top.

My favorite drink has no name, because near as I can tell I invented it. It's coconut rum and orange juice -- sounds weird, but it's actually really good. I've taken to calling it the Tropical Spoon, just to call it something.

Yay movie marathons! Thoughts on what to watch?

No, trust me, the Belinni was good ;o)

I've got a couple of drinks that I invented (with the help of friends)

Melabu Beach:
Malibu Rum
Vanilla Coke
- Seriously, it's like being on the beach!

Zzub Zzub:
(invented with friend D)
Blended up blueberries and raspberris in ice cream with ... I think it was rum :oD

Purple Nerple:
(invented with friend S)
(Must be served in a martini glass for proper effect)
Mix 1 and 1/2 parts of Blue Rasperry mix with 1/2 part Cranberry mix
Add 1 shot of absolute vodka
Shake
pour into martini glass
add one drop of Cranberry - do not mix - allow it to sink to the bottom, creating the 'nipple' effect!!

And the hubby invented:

Cinnamon Heart:
1 part Cranberry mixer
1 part Goldschlager
- like drinking candy :D

Tropical Spoon sounds great!!! I'll add it to my list!

Hmmm movie thoughts tho... not sure yet.. I want to see Across the Universe. Also want to see The Mist and Sweeny Todd... not sure if they're 'available' or not, but I'll probably have a look see :oD

Oooooh, those all sound really good! Especially the Zzub Zzub -- ice cream and alcohol for the win!

Across the Universe was fun, and I highly recommend Sweeney Todd. It's really well-done.

I've always been a Sweeny Todd fan... watched a recording of the play back in highshcool with Angela Lansbury as the Pie shop owner :oD Loved it.

And we saw the Toronto musical here earlier... and I've heard the movie is good. So, yes, must see !!!
