Have now put the spare tire on with the handy dandy little jack and tire wrench and made an appointment for 9am to get it fixed. The ultimate irony is that the dealership here is right at the intersection where I got the staple in the tire initially!!!

But beware the tent caterpillars! And other insects that might gravitate toward you,
Bwah, I can just imagine. "GET AWAY FROM ME! It TICKLES!" *G*
although, it used to be fashionable to wear bugs as jewelry, even live ones, that were chained to a pin... you could be reviving the entire fashion industry!
... people wore... bugs? When?? Where?? Why???

Oh, when was it... 19th century... there are records of it early on in India and Brazil, but by the late 1800's it was popular in Europe - not the live bugs so much as jewelry made from bugs - broaches, pins, earrings, buttons, etc. I can't quite remember who wore the live ones, and it might have been a more isolated than widespread kind of thing. But beetles were especially prized for their bright metallic colours.
This article talks about all sorts of animals worn as decoration, including insects. :o) Fascinating :o)
