I've always thought that this song was particularly well matched to Mal, and if I were one of those people who put together fan vids to music, I would totally do a Mal/Inara video for this song. I saw that someone made one with Serenity scenes, but I didn't care for it. Very few of the scenes they chose actually worked with the lines in the song, IMO. Too bad, 'cause I'd like to see a nice shippy video set to it.  ETA: What am I saying? More like, nice *angsty* shippy video set to it ;) Maybe I'll have to write an *angsty* shippy fic based on it sometime instead.

W00T!!!

Just got me four tickets to Roger Waters playing in Toronto in July! He'll be doing two sets, the second set being Dark Side of the Moon IN ITS ENTIRETY!

I'll be going with my Dad, and my brother's girlfriend is taking two of the tickets to give to my brother for his birthday, so they'll be coming too. An inter-generational show *G*

I love technology that allows me to order my tickets from my computer safe and sound at work so I don't have to brave the horrid, cold outside! :oD

Marie Antoinette Soundtrack = teh LOVE

OMG I soooo totally LOVE the soundtrack to Marie Antionette!!!

I know, I heard it all when I watched the movie, but it's an entirely new experience to sit and listen to it!

I was in a bit of a down mood today, feeling sad and lonely and kinda left out of things... I must be pre-menstrual But now I'm home, and it's the weekend, and hell, I popped this soundtrack on, and this is totally weekend music!!! It's so up, and my mood is *SO* much better, and I'm just grooving along here...

The downside is it's in a winamp format that I haven't seen before and only plays in winamp, which means I can't just chuck it on a cd for my mp3 playing dvd player downstairs... but I'm sure there's a converter out there...

But I owe HUGE props to [livejournal.com profile] agent_rouka for putting me on to this! Kudos of the day, darlin'!

And the rest of you, if you don't got it, get it!!!

This may be old news to some of you, but I have to thank [livejournal.com profile] mayorst for telling me about this song, 'cause I'm totally hooked on it and I'm listening to it over and over and over... It's terribly clever, catchy and fun.

If you haven't heard it, go HERE for the Free download and have a listen, it's great!!

It totally picks up my mood whenever I hear it :oD
