Icon - Spin Me About

Listening to MA soundtrack while looking at screencaps of Mal and Inara dancing from Shindig is interestingly appropriate *G* If I had the time (and patience) I'd make a Mal/Inara vid with some of that music. :o)
Anyway, I was playing around in photoshop and this is what came out. Not too sure on it, but, it's something, considering I haven't done much of this in a long while.
I was trying to capture a sense of movement - like spinning, eh? - by the motion blur in the background, but at the icon scale, it gets kinda lost and doens't really give the effect I was hoping for. :o/
What do you think?

Date: 2006-12-17 10:12 am (UTC)I don't get a sense of motion, necessarily, from the background because it appears to have a certain solidity with the choppy patterns in the blurs, but it certainly emphasized them being alone together, with everything else just fading into a faceless mass around them, which is almost as good, especially in this moment of dancing. Ohh, symbolic! *G* Or metaphorical, whatever. Hehehe.
In other words. I like!

Because you're fast like a freak?
