So, I just—and by just I mean over the last couple of days—read all of this fic.
*bounces in happiness* Yay! A new reader! :oD Thank-you!
First, it's awesome. The dialogue, characterizations, emotions, descriptions, everything. Great. Just great. And with swords! Hee.
*blush* Thank-you so much. I'm so very pleased that you liked it and found it great and awesome! What more could I ask for *G* I've slaved worked really hard on it, and it means a lot to have someone come and read it all and comment on it, so, many many thanks!
I'll admit, I was a little sad not to find Niska, 'cause I really like him for some reason. (Maybe it's his glasses?)
Heeee it was really a close toss up, but I think at the time when I was writing it, there were a lot of 'Niska catching Mal again' fics out there, so I went with Atherton instead. Sorry! :o)
That said, I've often wondered what would happen if they ever ran into Ath again. So hurrah for that. And for random Hamlet references. Of course, referring to Mal and Inara (as I thought River was doing) as Hamlet Ophelia not exactly the happiest of comparisons, what with the whole dead thing.
Hee yay, you got the references! heheheh.
Which leads to my second point....
I hate you.
Okay, that may be a slight over reaction, but it's only very slight, you understand? KillingMalgrumblegrumleincoherentrantofunhappiness.
*cackles*
*basks in the hate*
You must understand, I only do so because it means I have succeeded in making you '*feel* as you read this, which is of course the ultimate goal. That and I'm an evil angst lover ;o>
Don't give up yet, there's still more story to come ;o)
And thank-you again! Your comment comes as a well-timed encouraging boost to get the Epilogue written! :oD
