It truly does make sense! She's so calm and collected and accepting, but at the same time Inara has a hefty and healthy sense of irrationality about her. She knows how to indulge herself (and when not to) and I can see her do this, fully aware of how semi-mental it is. Simply because she needs it.
Like a doctor self-medicating. Not exactly healthy, but done in full awareness.
I am just so in love with the idea of Inara/Nandi... they're obviously my newest kink :o>
