Love how you're showing the after effects of Inara's heroicism. How there are consequences to our actions. Too often, fics don't deal with this.
I really like how Inara needs alone time after everything that happened to her. And how Mal can't seem to understand that and he conjures all sorts of negative feelings. Very, very Mal here.
I can't wait to see how you will conclude this story, what Inara will do, whether Inara and Mal will do the deed...BTW, that last thing would be really, really nice.
