browncoat2x2 | Project - Holster(s) for Mal's Pistol(s)

I've nearly finished the first of the two holsters I'm making to hold my two versions of Mal's pistol - the one from Firefly, and the one from Serenity. All I need to do is stain it and add the cinching belt and this one will be done.

I started with the left side first so that I could make all the mistakes on the side that I wouldn't likely wear as often, but really, I didn't have any real problems with it at all, so I'm quite happy with it.

Here it is, unstained, but basically complete.

And here it is with Mal's (Serenity) Pistol to show the fit.

And haning from a belt, as it is meant to be :o)

Hopefully the right side holster will come out as nicely and easily as this one did! Then I'll be ready to meet any of ya, high noon at the crossroads ;o)
